Call Ranch House
Relocated to Corona Heritage Park in 2005
Moving on with the Call Ranch house
Actually moving the house was only one piece of the preservation pie which makes up saving a historic structure.  Since it was located on its temporary cribbing, the Call Ranch house has undergone extensive engineering, planning, permitting and construction to be set on its new foundation.
With only inches to spare, Master Housemovers maneuvered through light standards and traffic signals.
Hovering over its final resting spot, the Call Ranch house took only 2 hours, 17 minutes, to traverse tangles of Corona streets in 2005 before morning traffic began.

In a fund-rasing competition to guess the correct travel time, the $1,000 winner of the Great House Race Raffle was Johnny Voss.  Congrats!

Resting on its new foundation, major restoration has begun.  Missing sub-floors needed replacing along with a complete new porch now being constructed.
