Capital Campaign Committee
One of the best known but least publicized ongoing projects is that of the Hotel Del Rey, which is still actively in the
works for reconstruction at the Corona Heritage Park & Museum. Once completed, the hotel's importance
will be the same to Corona as the Mission Inn is to Riverside.
Funds
continue
to be raised as the reconstruction costs continue to rise. During this
time, vital engineering has been
accomplished, seismically and adaptively for reuse, so the structure
will
retain its historic importance and accuracy, while making sure it will
prominently serve Corona for the next 100 years as an event center.
The Mayor's Heritage Ball is the City's
contribution in cooperation with the Heritage Park to raise funds for the hotel
and other park projects. Please visit: www.mayorsheritageball.org
