Guy Angelo Wilson

Guy received his BFA emphasizing drawing and painting from Cal State Long Beach 1988 with his Graduate Studies at Cal State Fullerton in ‘91 and ’92. In 1994, he received his MFA for sculpture from Claremont Graduate School.

Recent commissions include “Union Passage” in 1998, a water installation bronze for the city of Brea, “Bookin’ ” and “Gravity Games” in 2001, cast stone, over life-sized facade sculptures for the Chino Children’s Museum, and also, “Haleigh,” a bronze, and “River of Life,” a bronze, terra cotta, stone and water sculpture, both for the Chino Civic Center.

In 2001, he began the Eliza Tibbets Monument for Riverside, “Sower’s Dream,” a twelve-foot bronze with a twenty-foot diameter earthwork, and another sculpture for the Chino Civic Center, the “Russ Miller Peace Officer Memorial” of bronze and granite.

Guy has also worked on many sculptures for the motion picture and theme industries including Dreamworks, Disney Imagineering, Sony, Columbia Tri Star, Universal, United Artist, HBO, Propaganda Films, F.M. Rocks, Dinamation and Caesars Palace.

Besides his experience with bronze, he also works with kinetic sculpture, ceramics, welding, metal patination, mold making and fabrication with wood, metal and stone.
